Who we are
Already established as John J de Kock Estates Agency in the 1900s and purchased in 1970 by Tim Clampett and Clive Duffell, the business opened its doors as De Kock Estates. It became a household name in the property industry with integrity, honesty and trust becoming the golden rule for the company’s success and still is today, 54 years later!
The business grew from strength to strength and Clive Duffell eventually sold his share of the business leaving Tim Clampett in sole ownership and control. After a brief membership of the “Homenet Group” in 1995 and the disbanding of the “United” Agency with the rationalization of the ABSA Banking Group in 1998, the business refocused on its core activities.
Heather Seymour purchased the business from her father, Tim Clampett, which business is known today with the same valued principals as De Kock Estates. With specialised administration staff and qualified agents, they have expanded the property portfolio, specializing in sales, rentals and sectional title/HOA/share block management. Looking back on the colourful history and proud legacy that remains today, they will continue to serve the community and surrounding areas for many years to come!
